THE BENEFITS OF MOUTHGUARDS AND NIGHTGUARDS

Dental appliances are often worn at night to prevent damage to the teeth. People who grind their teeth or who unintentionally bite down too hard when they sleep can cause pain and damage to their teeth.

We can custom fit a nightguard for you to help protect your teeth and resolve issues that you may be having with grinding or clenching at night. There is no need to suffer with pain or loose sleep. We will create a custom dental appliance for you to protect your teeth and any restorative work you have had done, therefore helping to maintain a healthy dentition for as long as possible.

Aesthetic Cosmetic resin Bonding

Cosmetic bonding is a minimally invasive dental procedure that improves the appearance of teeth using a tooth-colored resin. The resin is applied, shaped, and hardened with a UV light, blending seamlessly with your natural teeth.

What problems can it help to fix?

Cosmetic bonding is great for correcting minor aesthetic concerns, such as:

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Small gaps between teeth
  • Stains or discoloration that don’t respond to whitening
  • Uneven or slightly misshapen teeth

What to expect?

The process is quick—typically completed in a single visit, often without the need for anaesthesia. The dentist roughens the tooth surface, applies a bonding agent, then sculpts the resin to achieve the desired shape. Once set, the material is polished for a natural finish. You can eat and drink normally right after, but it’s best to avoid biting into very hard foods.

While bonding isn’t as durable as veneers or crowns, with good care, it can last several years before touch-ups are needed.
