Founder
Dr. Mark Walker
Dr. Walker began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Medicine Honours, specializing in Genetics, from the University of Cape Town (1988–1991). He went on to complete his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1997, laying the foundation for his dental career. His commitment to advancing his skills continued with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch (2000–2001), followed by further specialization in dental implantology and advanced general dentistry at the Cambridge Academy of Implantology in 2017. Dr. Walker brings decades of experience, scientific insight, and a dedication to high-quality care to every patient he treats.
Dr. Kerry O’Brien
Dr. O’Brien graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010, establishing a strong clinical foundation in dentistry. She further specialized in aesthetic dentistry, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Dentistry from the University of the Western Cape in 2013. In 2017, she expanded her knowledge with a short course in Starting and Managing a Small Business at the University of Cape Town, equipping her with the skills to blend clinical excellence with thoughtful practice management. Dr. O’Brien is passionate about combining artistry and precision to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Senior Oral Hygienist
Angela Shannon Brest
Angela is a highly qualified oral hygienist with a strong focus on patient comfort and long-term oral health. She holds a Diploma in Oral Hygiene from the University of the Witwatersrand, an Advanced Diploma in Periodontics from the University of Pretoria, and is certified in the Expanded Scope of Practice for Oral Hygienists in South Africa.
Angela brings advanced skills and a passion for periodontal care to every appointment. She is one of the few oral hygienists in South Africa trained in laser-assisted therapy using the Waterlase Erbium:YAG laser—an innovative, minimally invasive approach to treating gum disease.
In addition to her periodontal expertise, Angela has a special interest in professional teeth whitening and is known for her gentle, patient-centred care. She is especially experienced in treating children and patients with special needs, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment for all.
